EPA Registered, NSA Listed, OSHA and CDC compliant PermaSafe CLEAN is a heavy duty disinfectant cleaner, odor eliminator, and mold, mildew, fungi, and allergen remover that quickly and effectively cuts through evaporator grease, grime, soils, mold, fungi and other contaminants.

More than just a powerful Evaporator Cleaner, CLEAN is also EPA registered for effective Antimicrobial Control, including eliminating and inhibiting the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew, fungi and other odor, stain, and damage causing organisms, in all types of HVAC Systems, air ducts, and related components, in all residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

In addition to its other sanitation, and microbe, mold, mildew, fungi, allergen, and odor elimination capabilities, CLEAN also provides residual antimicrobial protection of up to 4 weeks against mold and fungi, a combination of properties that make CLEAN the ideal solution for all your HVAC sanitation, antimicrobial control, and Indoor Air Quality needs.

And because CLEAN contains no harsh or hazardous chemicals or other adverse ingredients, it’s EPA rated “Category IV” for toxicity, the very lowest toxicity rating any antimicrobial product can be awarded, and one that means no gloves, masks or other Personal Protection Equipment are necessary when using it, no rinsing is needed after it’s applied, and no Precautionary Statements or Hazard Warnings are required on its labels.

Directions for Use

IT IS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW TO USE THIS PRODUCT IN A MANNER INCONSISTENT WITH ITS LABELING.

BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT: It is vital that the following directions be carefully read and understood prior to using this product. PRODUCT APPLICATION DEVICE REQUIREMENTS: This product is not packaged in a dispensing container, and must be applied with a separate application device. Approved application devices include fine mist spray bottles, other manual compression and pump sprayers, and electric foggers and sprayers. View our Product Applicator Options.

FOR CLEANING EVAPORATOR COILS: Disconnect the power to the unit before commencing any service. Begin cleaning by carefully removing any accumulated, matted or caked on soils or other debris, utilizing a coil fin cleaning brush if needed. If the unit has any bent cooling fins, we suggest straightening them at this time, using an appropriately sized fin comb of other straightening device. Next, using a spray bottle, compression sprayer, pump sprayer, or electric fogger, thoroughly saturate the targeted area with product, being sure to evenly treat all surfaces. No rinsing or wiping is required. However, you may wipe clean and/or rinse with water if desired, or if required due to remaining soils or deposits. For stubborn or heavy deposits, repeat applications may be necessary.

FOR CLEANING OTHER HVAC COMPONENTS AND GENERAL USE: Remove any heavy soils, loose dirt, corrosion and other debris. Spray surface and wipe clean. No rinsing required. For tough, greasy, grimy messes, apply product to surface and allow to sit to penetrate soil before wiping clean. Repeat as necessary.

FOR DEODORIZING HVAC SYSTEMS AND AIR DUCTS: Spray or fog CLEAN into system intake vents while system fan is running. Allow enough spray time for product to contact air duct surfaces. Repeat application as necessary.

FOR DISINFECTION: To effectively disinfect a surface, product must come in direct contact with it. Therefore, it’s critical that all dirt, grease, grime and other matter be removed from surfaces by cleaning in advance of disinfection. To disinfect pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous surfaces, apply product by wetting surface thoroughly with sprayer, fogger, sponge or mop. Allow surfaces to remain wet for 5 minutes, or 10 minutes for full virus inactivation (refer to the Microorganism Kill List for contact times).

FOR DEODORIZING OTHER SURFACES: Simply spray, fog, or wipe product on surface and let air dry. Product must come into contact with the cause of the odor to be effective.

FOR MOLD, MILDEW & FUNGI REMOVAL AND PREVENTION: To control and prevent the regrowth of mold, mildew and fungi on hard, non-porous surfaces, remove surface dirt, mold, mildew and other debris by cleaning. Spray product onto surface from a distance of 12 inches until visibly wet. Let stand for 10 minutes and allow to air dry.
